When an altar call was made, Pastor Simeon was so amazed to see how much the Lord had touched many hearts that day.  On Thursday 28 October 1993, in his dream the Lord gave Pastor Simeon a deeper meaning to what Balm of Gilead really is, that included a theological insight on Balm of Gilead, and  a humanitarian and compassionate aspect of  it as a ministry. When Pastor Simeon awoke from his dream, he wrote these things down in his 1993 diary.  Since then, the healing property of the blood of Jesus has been the bedrock of his message.  Believing that there are so many wounded hearts, crushed spirits and broken lives in our society, Pastor Simeon gathered some like-minded people together and went from markets to markets in the city of London to preach this message of healing. The group was called ‘BALM OF GILEAD OUTREACH’.

In 1994 when Pastor Simeon became the assembly Pastor of Christ Apostolic Church Peckham London, he established a medial department to produce a quarterly magazine called ‘BALM OF GILEAD Medicine of Hope Magazine’. A gift magazine with messages to encourage the down-hearted that there is hope even in the hopeless situations, for in Jesus there is balm to make the wounded whole and the Holy Spirit to revive the weary soul.

Pastor Simeon wanted something very practical and with his ten years of studying at various Bible Colleges and Universities, on the 4th October 2000 he established Kingdom Builders Bible Institute (KBBI) to train Christian men and women for counselling people with broken relationships (marital or parental) helping lives damaged by drugs and alcohol abuse, and building the kingdom of God by making a closely knitted family of God out of fragmented and confused families in the society. It is Pastor Simeon’s Vision to use a section of our church building as a Balm of Gilead Reparation Centre where people could come, regardless of their religious belief and receive whatever help might be needed from the volunteer church members who are medical professionals and spirit-filled.

On Wednesday 29 2001 as the Lord directed him, Pastor Simeon left Christ Apostolic Church Mount Zion International after nearly seven years, to plant CAC Balm of Gilead Healing Centre. The church is now the District Coordinating Council (DCC) Headquarters of the Nehemiah Generation DCC in Christ Apostolic Church Nigeria and overseas, Anosike (Europe) Region.)
